Care for Patients in Their Homes

Discover the rewards caring for patients where they are most comfortable

A patient goes to the hospital for acute intervention – but they heal at home. That’s why a career in home care nursing is so rewarding. You have the unique opportunity of caring for patients in their homes and helping them recover in the comfort of their surroundings.

As a member of the Lehigh Valley Home Care team, you’ll be given autonomy to direct your patient’s care, ensuring that he or she receives all of the clinical resources required.

You’ll also have access to the education and resources you need to succeed in providing the best care for your patients. We offer a thorough and comprehensive orientation which allows you to feel comfortable caring for your patients on your own in their homes.

    Technology Helps Us Care

We provide exclusive technology like our tele-monitoring system that monitors your patients when you’re not there by taking their vital signs. Nurses in the home care office keep a watchful eye on any important changes, are able to intervene early to ensure your patient stays at home and keep you informed on the status of your patients. You’ll also have a laptop computer that provides patient information at your fingertips and allows for quick entry of your notes so you have more time to listen to and treat your patients.

    We Work as a Team

Even though you visit patients in their homes alone, you are part of a team. If you need assistance, a colleague will be there for you. If you need to call the office with an administrative or insurance question, you’ll receive prompt, courteous help. We recently came together to establish peer accountability and develop standards of behavior that ensure we’re providing our patients the best care while creating a work environment we are proud and excited about. With a very low, single digit R.N. turnover rate, we’re a place where nurses love to come work and love to stay.
